Content Writer and Editor

Location: Gurgaon

Job Description

  • Serve as the English-language expert on complex and challenging industry research/consulting assignments
  • Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Review the reports and add value to reports written by the analyst team through rephrasing, rewriting making sure that the reports comply with GMI Research writing style guide
  • Provide constructive feedbacks/suggestions for improving analysts writing styles and grammatical consistency
  • Ensure the highest quality and timely delivery for all projects assigned
  • Assist with additional editorial-related projects, as needed
  • Understand the nature of requests and execute language quality assurance across a range of deliverables industry reports, company reports, press release, white papers, business development support, etc.
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Promote content on social media
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Update website content as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 Year Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
